Opt out on free listings

Does anyone know how to opt out of Ebay's free listing promotions. The final value fees on these free listings are getting very expensive. I would rather pay a fee to list items then pay the inflated final value fees for free listings. If I can't find a way to opt out of these promotions, I will be forced to quit selling on Ebay.

Final Value Fees are the same 10%, whether the listing was free or not.

The Final Value Fees on completed listings are the same for the free insertion listings and those you pay to list.

'Inflated' fees come from extras you choose to add.
