Is a 'Best Offer' binding?

I made a 'Best Offer' to a Seller.  They have 48 hrs to respond.  Meanwhile, I found the item at a better price.  If the Seller comes back within that 48 hr time period and accepts my 'Best Offer', am I obligated to buy the item ....or can I decline?

Thx - Frank

Yes.

... unless the listing closes/ends before the 48 hrs expire.

Yes, a Best Offer is binding. If the seller accepts your offer, it will immediately become a purchase and will be in your Purchase History in order for you to pay for it.

Just to be clear - there is no declining an accepted best offer.
