Why does it take so long to load pictures sometimes? I have spent 20 minutes trying to load a picture.

Sometimes my pictures load quickly and sometimes it is impossible to load a picture.  Why?

Chances are it"s your internet speed, not to much you can do except, click on tools, top of your screen, then click delete browser history, be carefull what you delete, read everything before you delete. Sometimes our computers get crowded as to say from past history, sites visited etc. and the computer will slow down. After you delete your browser history, shut down and restart your computer. This should help.

Any of several factors could be at work here. Could be a tie up somewhere along the internet path taken to connect you. Could be the eBay servers are very busy and backed up at that point in time. Could be your own computer is thrashing around for one reason or another. Really no way for us to tell, it happens sometimes.

Usually when I encounter this after five minutes or so I just cancel and try again, often on the second or third try the problem just magically goes away.

Some possibilities:

1.  Your computer lacks the capacity

2.  Your computer has malware and is not functioning properly

3.  Your computer storage is nearing capacity

4.  Your internet server

5.  Your modem

6.  Your photos are too large
