Pay as soon as possible or within four days.

At present sellers can open a dispute after 4 days.

In a few weeks that is going to be changed to two days.

What to do when a buyer doesn't pay (unpaid item process)

It is always best for you to pay ASAP.............

But a seller has 4 days (soon to be 2 days) before they can file an unpaid item dispute with ebay...........Then you have another 4 to pay..........

But you do NOT want it to get to that point.

If you are going to delay payment longer than 1 day - it is advisable to contact your seller to let them know.  But don't take longer than 4 days (in 2 weeks it will be 2 days) - if you do, you could have a case filed against you - and issues like that can cause you problems down the line...
