what is the difference between using PayPal and using a credit card 'through' PayPal?

what is the difference between using PayPal and using a credit card 'through' PayPal? I HAD a PayPal account, and someone hacked into and bought $1300 worth of computer games!! So technically, I don't use it. Just use my credit card to pay. There are items I would like to purchase, but get an error message saying the seller only accepts PayPal. I have 100% positive score. Please advise.

Way too many sellers don't have CC accounts for a buyer to pay by CCs. I know I don't.

Attach a CC to your Paypal account. Don'r ever respond to any phishing emails in your personal ISP account, only thru MY MESSAGES in Ebay.

If your credit card is attached to your Paypal account you can use it to fund your purchase as long as your Paypal balance it NIL. Simply choose the more funding option in paypal and select your credit card.when you check out.
