FYI

Credit card refunds to do not go right through PayPal without a trace.

There are two transactions and they can be several days apart.

Never rely on eBay nor emails for accurate payment information.

OOOPS! Did you pay with a credit card? If so then the payment went right through your paypal account back to the credit card provider, look at your credit card statement, most cc are not updated instantly, may take an overnight to update.

If it is not in your account then it was not refunded to your account, refunds happen almost instantly.

It would be instantaneous. If it's not in your account they did not refund.

You should not be looking at your balance.

You should be looking at your list of transactions for record of the refund.

Record of a refund is immediate, funds transfer to your balance may not be.

If you paid with a credit card, you'll see two transactions. The first is the refund from the seller and when that is Completed the second is the credit to your card. It can take a week or more for it to post on your online credit card statement.

Never rely on eBay nor emails for accurate payment information.
