Your account is identified by the email address you used when you set up your account.,  Why would a seller need this?  If you bought from him he would simply invoice you from the listing, or you could us the "pay now" button.  It doesn't sound right.

If this is for an eBay purchase the seller should not be invoicing you from PayPal.

Do NOT pay a PayPal Money Request for an eBay item. This would VOID eBay Buyer Protection.

You go through eBay Checkout to pay for eBay items.

Never rely on eBay nor emails for accurate payment information.

Your PayPal "address" - your connection in PayPal is your email address as registered with eBay.

A seller with whom you are already in a transaction would have this information.

If not in a transaction, seller may be heading toward an Off eBay Transaction - buyer will have no eBay Buyer Protection there.
