When you go to pay for your item, Paypal will give you the option of where you want the funds to come from. You need to choose "credit card" as your funding source. They kind of hide it on the page, you have to look for it.

Unfortunately, you have to manually change it every time.

Credit card processing costs PayPal more money and there is also the risk of chargeback due to the extended consumer protections most cards provide.

Therefore they will not allow them to be the primary funding source.

Never rely on eBay nor emails for accurate payment information.

You can't make a credit card your default payment source.
