What is considered "economy" shipping vs "standard" shipping?

What is considered "economy" shipping vs "standard" shipping? I couldn't find anything in the help area. Purchased an item where "economy" was $5.99 and "standard" was $9.99. Hopefully the standard will be usps priority or two-day ups. Seller didn't respond when I asked. Thanks!

Standard stands for USPS First Class mail

USPS First Class Mail is one of several options that eBay categorizes as "Standard," as shown in the chart on the page linked in the above post.

 

Given the prices you mentioned, IMHO it's likely that "Standard" in that listing refers to UPS Ground and "Economy" is USPS Parcel Post.

 

USPS Priority Mail and UPS 2nd-day air are both considered to be Expedited shipping services.
