Can I print a shipping label today and ship the item tomorrow?

I recently sold an item and the buyer finally payed for the item today.  Since today is Sunday, the Post Office is closed.  Can I print the label right now, get the package ready, then tomorrow go to Post Office to send it?

I would rather give the package to a PO worker to make sure the package is alright than to just use the drop box.

You can, but even if you put in tomorrow's date as the shipping date, ebay will record it as being shipped today and that will affect the "estimated" delivery date.  Nice, eh?

yes, of course you can print your label today.

estimated delivery dates are based on 'business days' ,and Sunday is not a business day.

On the label preparation page, there's a little drop-down menu to choose your actual shipping date, in case your PO is strict about the label must show the current date.  Often, the eBay date wlil advance automatically  after-hours.

If I remember right, and judging by the two labels I printed late this morning, when printing a label on a Sunday, the next business day will be the earliest date that you can select.  Mine defaulted to tomorrow, and there was no option for it to show as today.  Saturdays are another story though, since many post offices are open for business at least half the day.
