IF A PO BOX IS A CONFIRMED SHIPPING ADDRESS BY EBAY, SHOULD I ASK THE BUYER FOR A PHYSICAL ADDRESS OR JUST SEND THE ITEM?

PO Box is confirmed? Then that's the buyer's address. Just send the item. What is the issue?

Unless you are using a shipping service like UPS or FedEx, and will be shipping via USPS, send the item. Why do you not want to ship to the PO Box? they are much more secure than a mailbox, and the postal workers will just hand the package over the counter to the buyer if it is too big to fit in the box.
Many ebay members use PO Boxes for address security, and do not want the World to know where they live.
