I was going thru my cedar chest and found about 10 orange stamps with the picture of James Brown on them. They have the words Black and Brown on them with the number 25 in black and the number 99 in red. I have been trying to find some information on them on the internet with absolutely no luck. Don't know if they are worth anything or where I even got them for that matter. Think they'd be worth anything?

Hi! I'm not sure about the stamps worth, but like many other things, the value is relative to how many people may want them. The rubber quality, mount (wood, foam, plastic, acrylic or ?) and their overall stamping condition is important. If you already sell items or would like to start, it doesn't hurt to list for sale, you may be surprised. You could check completed/current listings for similar stamps & qualities before listing. There are alot of James Brown fans out there too! Good luck!

I've been heard!! Thanks for the reply. Sorry I wasn't descriptive enough. The stamps are not rubber. They are orange in color but are postage type stamps with the sticky stuff you lick on the back. Thanks for the help! :smileyvery-happy: pa

Ah yes, I agree. These boards are a little (lot) slow. Ooops, to the wrong kind of stamp, but good luck anyways!

Although I am registered on .ca I spend more time on the .com boards when in need of help or ?. I think I am still waiting for a reply to a post that I put on stores board .ca near the beginning of the month. You could try ebay.com for help, just log in like usual, there are more categories up for discussion there too.

Ooops, we are on the .com board! Do try a different category though. It must be time to shut down for the night, if I don't even know where I am, how can I give advice. lolB-)

yep, definitely time to shut down for the night. I know this ebay thing can be addictive! I'll keep checking around here and there. Maybe post a question in the musicans category. If nothing else, they'll go back in my cedar chest for another 10 years! :smileyvery-happy:
