What does 14K AM-G C or O mean? Is it real 14k?

What does 14K AM-G C or O mean? Is it real 14k?

I purchased a unique wedding diamond ring and slim band at a
pawn shop. The receipt stated 14 K, but the marks on the diamond
ring show 14K AM-G with either a heavy C mark or an O. Does this mean I have a real 14K ring or a 14K over some other metal?
Was this made by a specific company or designer?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, LC

Most pawn shops test all their gold with aqua regia even if they are hallmarked since there is so much fake hallmarking going on these days and they need to be protected from scams. I'm almost certain your ring is genuine gold. The marks on your ring are more than likely the signature of who made it.
