Doll's back neck has raised letters Horsman Dolls, wire around neck to fasten, cloth body, composition face, arms, legs. I'm listing her for our local Hospice Thrift Store, any information age, name, etc. most appreciated. Also are the splits near her nose/mouth fixable? Thanks, Mary

1939 Horsman Baby Precious doll, 18-21" tall, composition flange head & composition wired on partial or full arms & upper legs, stuffed cloth body with stitched hip joints, crier, mohair wig (possibly with molded hair beneath), sleep eyes, closed mouth. Doll marked A Horsman Doll. Baby Precious was produced in hard plastic in 1950s and later. Also came in a black version.

Everything fits except she has no crier, doesn't appear ever had one, no wig. Marked just "Horseman Dolls". It's possible they had different variations. Thanks, I'll go with that. Mary
