What is a reasonable amount of time to expect payment?

As a seller, what is a reasonable amount of time to be paid?  When is it time to email a reminder?

eBay allows sellers to file an "Unpaid Item Claim" if payment has not been made after 2 days from end of auction.

My personal policy is to allow up to 7 days as a "Payment expected by ..." timing.

Several sellers have their expectations all the way out to 10 days.

Choose the payment timing that is comfortable for you.

Unpaid Item claims may be filed at any time after 2 days and up until day 32.  The claim must be closed before the end of day 36 in order to issue strikes and get your final value fees credited back to your account.
