Pop-ups are necessary on eBay.
The Browse function for loading images is a pop-up.
The Enlarge feature for pictures in listings is a pop-up.
You need your pop-up blocker unchecked for features to function properly on eBay.
Advertisements are not pop-ups.
You can use a web browser that doesn't allow advertisements.
Firefox with the Ad Block Plus add on will work.
