Hi - Is any one currently doing business with either Simplx or Executive Business Consulting? Are they legit?
EBC claims to be associated with Simplx, and wants about $6,000 to tutor me on how to use their system, learn how to set-up an e-commerce business, and take advantage of LLC tax breaks, etc. Any feedback, good or negative, would be appreciated. Thanks. Brian

Call the better business bureau first. You can get set up with an ecommerce sight much cheaper than 6 grand. Do your homework. It sounds like a ripoff to me.

Thanks. I have checked them out with the BBB. They have a decent record, but the idea of coughing up $6 Gs made me choke, and I wanted to see if any one here had any history with them. Brian

I'm embarrassed to say that I signed up for and paid Simplx 79.99 to become a distributor, which truly only bought me the priviledge to speak with a "counselling coach/salesman. I was sent a "confirmation letter" directly from Zibus.com, not Simplx.com. My "counselling coach", who was really trying to coach me out of a start up fee of $5,000, or $250 for PI software, or 15,000 for the super deluxeo package told me himself he was a Zibus employee. Simplx.com is also Zibus.com, who is also Mallshare.com. They're pirates. BEWARE!

BTW, I was also told I could cancel or suspend my "membership" at anytime (LIE). It became such a hassle that I just cancelled my credit card.

HI. I unfortunately signed up with them only to find out that they are a scam! BEWARE! They claim to be a drop ship company and they are NOT! They charge me $199.99, of which I am trying to get reimbursed. They have a listing of a bunch of merchants, like Macy's, Walmart, etc. All take you to their webpage. You get a piddly discount from these companies and then have them ship your product. This is not a way to drop ship! You can do this without this company.
Please check online by doing a search on any company you are thinking about using before you make the big mistake like I did.
Good luck!

I talked to one of their sales reps today for a few hours while he tried coaching the $200 into his pocket. I told him no and started researching the company a little bit. Seems that everything I hear from any past victims all seem the same. They definitely are a scam. I also would like to know if there are any good dropshippers out there. Looking like the only real way to go is finding a good wholesaler and buy in bulk.

Has anyone heard of or had any experience with Doba.com or dropshipaccess.com? These companies claim to be drop shippers and Doba claims to be EBay certified. I talked to the folks at Simplx.com and red flags went up when they started talking about packages that start at a cost of $500 and go up to $15,000 with a guarantee of six figures if I spent 10k - $15k. Doba and dropshipmentaccess charge a monthly fee of $35 for access to their products. Is this a scam too?

I found this board to be very helpful in finding a good drop shipper:

I have also regretably signed up with Simplx (back in April) and have not seen one single cent back. They owe me over $250 in "commission" and I haven't gotten anything back. I paid them $200 to get started, as well as a small monthly fee. I just got off the phone with the "Manager of Client Services" and he said if I didn't get my check by Wednesday, I would be issued another one." Right...it's been 5 days since they mailed out my 1st check, and I literally live 45 minutes away from where they are mailed. I'm not impressed, and have a VERY low opinion of them. I'm still deciding if legal action for misrepresentation would be worth looking into. At this point, I'm leaning towards...yes.

Simplx.com COMPLAINTS

Posted By: Bridget
Friday, 20 October 2006, at 9:38 a.m.

Hi all! Has anyone ever done business with Simplx.com? The are a wholesale -drop ship co. w/1,000's of merchants. Start up fee is $600 (for the conservative buyer up to $12,000 for the dye hards) w/ $35 monthly access fee to all of their merchants (Wal-Mart, Target, Nordstorms, Best Buy, and tons more).
I did a BBB search and they've had 10 complaints in the last year (all have been resolved), but doesn't say what the complaints were.

Thanks!!
