If you bid on a listing that has "GBP" or any other non-USA currency mark, your amount entered is in that currency, not US $.

For example, if you bid 10 on that listing you're looking at that's in Great Britian Pounds, you will have commited yourself to a max of $15.20 in US dollars, plus there will be a currency conversion cost charged by Paypal when they make the payment for you in GBP.

Great British Pounds, the monetary currency of Great Britan, England.

You are welcome.
