Seller refuses to ship item after I paid and won. Also relisted the item.

i Just had this same issue right now. I paid for the item once i won the bid. Payment is still being processed. Seller didnt have reserve not met for the auction. And the seller messages me and says he wants more money and relists the same item again as buy it now. What action should i take now?

Thank you

You can not force a seller to ship neither can eBay so once your payment completes seller should refund. If not file an item not received case to get a refund.Once you have $ back leave feedback calmly stating what seller did.

Leave the seller a negative feedback that reads something like this: Seller relisted item because he thought final selling price was not enough money.

Be a responsible eBayer. Don't make feedback part of your feedback.

I'm going to disagree with you on that wording.  It looks like speculation on the buyer's part.  My advice is to put the facts out there and let the reader do the speculations if needed; and attributing any confession to the seller rather than using the omnisicient narrator voice:

"Seller refunded with no explanation; relisted next day at higher starting bid"

vs.

"Seller refunded saying 'sold too low'"

vs.

"Seller asked for more money while holding payment"

Yup, WG makes an excellent point. The use of the word "thought" makes it appear speculative.

If the OP can squeeze it in, I like a combination of two of yours: Seller refunded, said "sold too low", relisted next day at higher starting bid.
