I PAY to have my own STORE at this place - I shouldn't have to put up with people being sent away from MY goods and towards someone else's! It's disgusting!!

I have written to Ebay several times about these Sponsored Links and asked them to remove them, they will not remove them.
Please take the Sponsored Links off of my Ebay selling pages, these are very
distracting to my buyers and very disrespectful to me. I have been a good Ebay
seller for 13 years and since these Sponsored Links have been added, it has
slowed my selling down. It is not good business for me to try to sell an item
and then Ebay puts a Sponsored Link on my Ebay page that I am paying for and
these links are referring to the same item I am selling and asking my potential
buyers to go the that Sponsored Link. Please take the Sponsored LInks off of my
Ebay pages. Thank you

This susks! I clicked on the sponsored link and a few items I can buy less than my wholesale sorces. Ebay finds a new way to make sellers bleed a little more each year.

I too have just found this new "feature" and am really angry about it! Yet another thing to hate eBay for!
It's high time they started treated sellers like customers, too! They make MOST of their money out of us sellers, and yet they seem to favour buyers in EVERY way! X-(

I was wondering if THE INTER STATE TRADE COMMISSION has any legal info on these practices.
If I buy and add in a publication, no one will add their sponsored links to it.
Our sales are down substantially since they appeared in our product adds.
Any links to ITC ?
Good luck to all.
Ebay sugested I do it the them to, for a buck..

How are we supposed to sell anything on eBay when they are directing our traffic away. I go out of my way to create a good listing, and take careful consideration in the strategy of the listing, then eBay and other sellers reap the rewards by being able to advertise on my page!!! eBay, you suck and are disgusting. It's the individual sellers that created the success of your company.

You can't remove them, as you probably already know, but here is a bit of interesting information:
"Sponsored Links" usually impose on your listing, showing the competition, but today when I sold a pair of men's workboots and went to the item page so I could print a label....WOMEN IN BRAS and UNDERPANTS were the SPONSORED LINK!!!!!
Imagine that, on MENS WORKBOOTS! So I did an experiment, went to my american girl doll listing and there was the competition selling the same doll as me, then I went to a DVD, again the competition. And so was the case for every item I was selling EXCEPT for mens items...there were the links with the half naked women. SO EBAY WHAT IS NEXT??? PORN LINKS???? IS EBAY ENCOURAGING MEN TO LOOK AT THIS STUFF BY PUTTING A LINK FOR UNDERWEAR ON WORKBOOTS????
DISGUSTING! I HAVE HAD IT WITH EBAY!

I feel this question and the implications of this practice by eBay is highly important.
Does eBay remove the sponsored links if you choose to pay more?
