antique?? pottery/china FS STAS

I have a beautiful lusterware coffee/tea set marked FS STAS. It is a cream color with green & a touch of pink and yellow luster. The demitasse cups are lined on the inside with gold & the pieces have gold trim. The saucers have green luster on the rims. Does anyone know anything about this? I found 1 piece on ebay for sale. The listing states that the piece is turn of the century. Is this antique? TIA for any assistance!

I have a vague recollection this is Romanian and not antique.

looks rather as if the manufacturer's name is .fs.

STAS is like a statal register or model number = Standard De Stat.

zOee--I have had this set for a while & all I could find out is that it is Romanian--the company name was F S STAS. I am almost certain these are pretty rare. The pieces I have of this are absolutely gorgeous--the photos do not do justice. I am holding on to this until I can find more info. The only piece I found is listed on ebay for over $300. It is the same colors.Just type in fs stas on search.

If you find any more info, please let me know.

sorry to rain on your enthusiasm but while the pieces maybe rare there seems to be no demand.  The pieces on ebay have been unsold for awhile and the price is very optimistic.

Wawel, Poland made a similar style.

the STAS number puts it to 1948 and later.
