Identification of antique glass vase

Is anyone aware of the syle/name of the pictured vase or have any other relevant informaion that they could pass along to me?  It has a purple (sun colored) hue to it, stands 8" tall and is about 6 1/2" at its widest point and is 9 sided.  The bottom has a six-sided star burst molded into it.  It's heavy and substantial (EAPG?).  I was unable to find a similar one in my internet searches.

It has the shape of a Tiara glass Colonial water jug, but the star pattern on the bottom does not match. Here's a link on Ebay to a Tiara water jug:
