This is a very heavy glass container with what appears to be a slight greyish hue with 14 horizontal ribs. Some small bubbles in the glass but no decernable markings except for an endented arc on the bottom. 8" high and 4" width at mouth. The mouth has a large indented lip.
Thank you in advance for any information you might be able to prove in resolving this mystery piece.

Resembles an apothecary bottle missing its lid.

Apothecary jars have ground glass stoppers like the attached picture. This jar has never been ground for a stopper. The mold lines on the lip edge indicate that it is a fairly modern jar. This site is an excellent resource to learn about bottles. https://sha.org/bottle/
