We want to remind you that the new, simplified seller standards announced in our Fall Seller Update will take effect starting tomorrow, February 20, 2016.

Here’s a quick recap of the updates—click any link below for more details:

  • Keep in mind that, starting May 1, 2016, listings from Top Rated sellers must offer at least a 30-day money-back return policy to earn the Top Rated Plus discount and seal. The handling requirement (same-day or one-day handling) still applies.

As long as you have the items you list in stock, ship within your stated handling time, and satisfy buyers by resolving issues if they arise—you’ll be set up for success. Be sure to check your seller dashboard regularly for the latest insight into your performance.

Your overall returns rate will now be included in your seller dashboard so you can better manage—and minimize—your returns. Note: returns don’t count as defects when successfully resolved with your buyer (without eBay having to step in and help).

Of course, we want to give you the opportunity to discuss and ask questions about these seller standards updates with eBay staff and other sellers. So please join one or more of the upcoming events below:

Cancel Transaction Option should include "BUYER REQUEST"

which is usually the reason for cancelling the sale.  Thank you , jan
