Sellers, we want to remind you that, as announced in the Fall Seller Update, our new, simplified seller performance standards will take effect starting February 20, 2016. These new standards come as the direct result of your feedback and desire for a set of performance measures that are easier to manage and not based on opinions. And we’re excited to say that they’re simpler, more objective, and truly reflective of your level of service.

Be sure to visit your redesigned seller dashboard regularly for the latest insight into your performance, transactions, and on-time shipping information. Check your dashboard anytime to:

  • See where you stand with the new, intuitive interface—and take action when you need to

  • Download detailed, easy-to-understand reports on your transaction defect rate

  • Check your late shipment rate and download a detailed report to understand any issues

Remember, starting May 1, 2016, listings from Top Rated sellers must offer at least a 30-day money-back return policy to earn the Top Rated Plus discount and seal. The handling requirement (same-day or one-day handling) still applies.

I thought the Ebay management had changed and done a 180 the second half of 2016. Ebay Concierge Customer Support has been great, knowledgeable and understanding. Cases have (rightfully) closed in my favor. Scam-buyers seemed to be getting away with less.


As soon as things start to go smoothly, management makes foolish decisions: reduce the discount for Top Rated Sellers by half, and then guarantee delivery time. Wow. I am really disappointed as I have worked hard to meet any and all of Ebay and Buyer demands and expectations.


We ship Monday, Wed, Thurs and Friday and we are in danger of losing Top Rated Status because of "late shipping".  I don't know how we could possibly ship faster. All of our feedback is something like this: "Super Fast Shipping, great packaging"



Buyers are great and that's where the money is, but management really needs to take care of its Sellers, or like all good things, it will come to an end.
