What does Processed Through Sort Facility ISC New York (USPS) means?

Hi,

I am selling my bag collection internationally and one the bag is going to US. Using the tracking service provided by USPS, the tracking shows :

Processed Through Sort Facility

February 12, 2012, 12:38 pm

ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS) 

Registered Mail™

Origin Post is Preparing Shipment

Processed Through Sort Facility

February 10, 2012, 4:35 pm

SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE

Does that mean that my buyer has received the item? What is happening? Appreciate any advise.

ISC NEW YORK NY is also where packages are checked against a "DO NOT MAIL LIST" to prevent illegal money laundering to overseas countries. I hear that they have a federal mandate to check packages against this list and it can add 2 or more week delays to packages!!

I also want to ask you something more...
At the update of USPS it is written that my package is at Charleston,West Virginia...
The address that it must be sent is at Lawrenceville ,New Jersey..
What's happenning???

Have been using the track service at USPS own homepage, but there it just says "Arrived at sort facility ICS NY".

BUT... when I tried that russian one for my EMS-package there are two more lines:

- Arrived at customs Stockholm EMS

- Into customs Stockholm EMS

Really frustrating USPS OWN service didn't say that! X-(

USPS does not offer "Tracking" on most International shipping levels.

Hi nadie - The post you are asking about was posted more than a month ago.  The chances of the OP coming back to answer is slim and none.

Packages from China usually take at least 21 days to get to you (or longer) - be patient, but don't forget to file the item not received case before your 45 day time limit.

What hidy said. I've never received a package from China quickly but I've never had one fail to arrive.

If nothing received by day 44 after payment, open an "item not received" dispute and escalate it before the 20 day deadline. That will give the package nearly 2 months to arrive and will get you a full refund if it does not.

It means it is in customs in New York. Customs has to check your package if its coming from another country.

It looks to me that your item has been rejected and returned, luckly not destroyed, by US Custom

          According to what the postal employee in my home

  town said.It's been processed into the ISC next is onto

CUSTOMS,and after that then it's (dispatched or transferred)

out to the post offices of the USA.and can take 2 to 3 weeks in customs.

I' ve been waiting for 19 days for one and 16 days for the other.

YES THIS SUCKS !!!!!!

I just had a package sitting there for ten days before I received a notice that it had been processed in Kearny, NJ. I should be getting it any day now.
