Is EBay worth it for sellers anymore?

I just noticed that EBay fees since January 1st have been 21%, I use the most basic listings. They are hostile towards sellers...always on the side of the buyer, and really don't give a *&% as they think they are the only game in town. It isn't worth it; besides the crazy buyers, a bunch of theives at EBay and the headaches...for what, 79% of my goods and I get the hassle. And if that guy comes on that always tells you to take a deep breath, hold yours for as long as you can.

Agreed and 2nd'd. Hopefully, you got your crazy buyer out of the way early. The rest should be cake and now you've got a lot of good experience under your belt.

I think if you do what I suggested (i.e. pick one item that sold and find all of the fees for that item on your invoice), you'll find that 21% eBay fees is not correct. That is, assuming your statement about using using only the basic listing format is correct.

For example, what were your fees on item #280444885805, "Nintendo NES Action Set, Boxed 7 Games! EXCELLENT COND!"?

OP has no idea what his fees are. Maybe he'd make better decisions if he did know.
